Sample Information

This page provides an explanation of the samples used in the research, focusing on gene expression analysis
in T. myopaeformis, a pest that affects sugar beet plants. A total of 39 samples were obtained from frozen
T. myopaeformis maggots, which were fed on various susceptible and resistant genotypes of sugar beet plants.
These samples were collected at different time points to examine how the pest’s feeding behavior influences
the gene expression of the sugar beet plants over time. The study aims to identify differentially expressed
genes in the plants, focusing on how resistant genotypes respond at the molecular level compared to susceptible
ones. This research provides insights into the plant's genetic responses to pest infestation, potentially
contributing to the development of more resistant sugar beet varieties in the future.
